The CDDHHPPI supports the tutela action of Robinson López, former president of ACIMVIP, regarding the special peace electoral districts
In the debate over the special peace constituencies, an Indigenous man of the Inga People takes an important step in the defense of the human and political rights of the population victimized by the social, armed and political conflict, of which Indigenous people, peasants and Black people have been among the main protagonists.
Mr. Robinson López, coordinator of human rights and peace of the Organization of Indigenous Peoples of the Colombian Amazon (OPIAC), filed a tutela in defense of the process to create the 16 special peace constituencies, which give political and oversight power to the victims of the war so that in times of peace they can consolidate processes through which they can dignify the lives of populations that have only known the cruelty of war.
