Muiuri: the children's circle-song series that revives the language and ancestral knowledge of the Inga People and the Awá People
In the bilingual schools of Putumayo, girls, boys, teachers, families and authorities created MUIURI, an audiovisual series of six children's songs promoted during 2025 to revitalize the mother tongue and pass on ancestral knowledge: five with Inga educational communities and one with the Awá People. MiPutumayo published it on September 23, 2026, describes each song with its territory of origin (Mocoa, Villagarzón, Puerto Guzmán, Santiago and the Awá version) and notes that the videos are available on the YouTube and Facebook channels of Ingakuna Sugllapi Tukuspa.
