The Inga People of Villagarzón denounce the Churuco exploratory drilling project

Statement read by Pablo Emilio, who introduces himself in the video as governor of an Inga cabildo of the municipality of Villagarzón, regarding the Churuco exploratory drilling project, recorded in April 2015 with authorities and community members gathered in a forest setting. He rejects the application of Directive 10 of 2013 of the Ministry of the Interior, which provides for the proportionality test when communities do not attend consultation meetings, and demands that prior consultation be carried out with the Inga People of the municipality of Villagarzón as a collective.
