Closing of the CNTI accompaniment in Chaluayaco: strengthening the Indigenous Caretakers of the Colombian Amazon

🔵🟢🟡 #ODTPIComunica| We concluded the CNTI's accompaniment within the framework of the Observatory of Territorial Rights of Indigenous Peoples in Putumayo. ✊🏾

👉🏾| For a week we were with the Association of Indigenous Cabildos of the Municipality of Villagarzón Putumayo (ACIMVIP), on a tour to strengthen the Indigenous Caretakers of the Colombian Amazon (CIAC) and to provide training in the use of georeferencing tools,📍the latter led by the CNTI.

We thank ACIMVIP for taking us into account to support these initiatives, and the guards for accompanying and guiding us at all times to walk the territory together and connect with the forces of nature. 🌿⚡ Likewise, we thank the Indigenous governor and the hosts of the Resguardo of Chaluayaco 🏞️ who made our arrival possible, welcomed us into their home and allowed us to carry out the planned activities.

This is long-term work and we will continue working for the defense of the territorial rights of Indigenous Peoples in Colombia. 🌀 #CNTI25AÑOS We protect the territories, we weave life!
