Strengthening of the Wasikamas, Inga Indigenous Guard of ACIMVIP

Review of the project to strengthen the Wasikamas, the Indigenous Guard of the Inga People of ACIMVIP, presented by the chief mayor of the Inga Resguardo Chaluayaco, coordinator of the project. It covers the training in prior consultation, protection and self-protection, deforestation and environmental conflicts; the knowledge exchanges with taitas and authorities; the participation of women as caretakers of the territory; the territorial tour, and the provision of GPS units and radios for the network of defenders of Mother Earth.
