Five Inga communities elect their authorities in December 2023

Between 10 and 23 December 2023, five Inga communities of ACIMVIP held their assemblies to elect the authority that would govern them in 2024: the Cabildo Alparumiyaco Alto San Juan Las Delicias, on 10 December; the Cabildo Musu Waira Sacha Nucanchipa, on the 14th; the Inga Indigenous Reservation of Nukanchipa Alpa Amukunapa Wasi, on the 16th; the Cabildo Cachiacu Andaki, on the 17th; and the Inga Indigenous Reservation of Albania, on the 23rd. The three Cabildos (Indigenous traditional authority) belong to the Inga Indigenous Reservation of Nukanchipa Alpa Amukunapa Wasi.

In the same period, on 22 December 2023, the General Assembly of Governors of ACIMVIP elected the Board of Directors and the legal representative of the Association for 2024-2027. The authorities of the five communities took office before the Mayor's Office between 10 and 12 January 2024, for terms that, according to the Ministry of the Interior certifications, run until 31 December 2024.
