ACIMVIP condemns the murder of Fhanor Guazaquillo, authority of the Nasa People

The Association of Indigenous Cabildos of the Municipality of Villagarzón Putumayo condemns the murder of the Indigenous authority and leader of the Nasa People Fhanor Guazaquillo. Violence will not silence the defence of the rights, the territory and the lives of Indigenous Peoples.

We send our condolences to his family and to the Nasa authorities for the loss of a leader who gave his life for social struggles in the department of Putumayo and in the country. His legacy and his teaching will continue to accompany the defence of life.
